This is an all purpose web and print logo designed for the upcoming sports website, Sports Talk Talk. The clients, sports and entertainment attorney Mel Reddick, thoroughbred-racing expert C.N. Richardson, and legendary sports writer Bert Sugar, were looking for a logo that communicated an emphasis on sports media.
Mr. Sugar specifically asked that we include a microphone in the logo to convey this focus. The red and black logo with extended, underlining letters marries elements of classic sports publication brands with a bit of a nod to familiar sports news and entertainment broadcasting logos. We’re looking forward to seeing this image on boxing rings, box scores, and blogs in the very near future.
